Frank Lloyd Wright Collection
Frank Lloyd Wright Collection By Motawi Tileworks
4th of July 6x8

This beautiful and patriotic tile is adapted from Frank Lloyd Wright’s “July Fourth” cover design for the July 1937 Town and Country magazine. The linear design breaks up and rejoins the design elements of our nation symbol in pure Art Deco style.

The 4th of July tile is displayed in a Oak Park frame by Dard Hunter.

The Coonley Home Rugs

Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation
Frank Lloyd Wright Believing the architect should create total environments, Mr. Wright's designs included art glass windows, furniture and lighting. These tiles are adapted from a watercolor of a tapestry rug design planned for the Avery Coonley House. Designed between 1906 and 1908, the rug was never executed.

Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation
The Motawi Tileworks has joined with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to create a stunning collection of authentic Wright designs. The collaboration has allowed Nawal Motawi to search the Foundations' achives at Taliesin to rediscover these classic designs. According to Nawal, searching the archives was "an artists dream come true."

Working from orginal Wright drawings, Nawal and the skilled craftsmen at Motawi Tileworks have captured the genius of Frank Lloyd Wright in their trademark style and quality.
