The tiles in the Frank Lloyd Wright Coonley Playhouse Collection, titled Confetti, Middle, and Blue Balloon are adapted from Frank Lloyd Wright’s design for the Coonley Playhouse Light Screen Triptych, build in Riverside, Ilinois, 1912.
These distinctive and joyful designs bring to mind big parades, with marching bands, balloons and lots of confetti. The designs are playful and modern, yet classic. The tile is displayed in a Oak Park frame by Dard Hunter.
